Prints to Go!

I am making good my promise to blog as often as possible and I guess its working out okay so far.

Hey hey, Everybody! We are mid way through the week for those of us who live for Friday one day to go! Yeeeeey! Well its always nice to meet somebody new and they go like "You have a blog right?... I follow it "Chini  ya Maji" translation "Under the Radar" and it is very nice." So we chat up abit then the big question comes "who take your photos?" Well ladies and gentlemen a around of applause for Anne. She is the lady who doubles up as  the "Operations Manger" read "Maid" at home and she is my very skilled photographer believe it or not Anne is the reason I am able to post.

Trust me it was a struggle to teach the lady how to take good photos because she had this constant look in her face like "how vane can one human being be....who takes this many photos of themselves?" Well with a little explaining what the photo fuss was about she has become my trusted photo companion who has become a pro and I am grateful for that Anne.

Oooooh by the way my family also helps a lot my sisters and my brother also take shots here and there so its a combined family effort. My mother on the other hand is not so good (ssshhss) hehehe but I will keep "training" her hopefully she is going to get better or not! Well Wairimu (lady I met on over the weekend) runs an online page called U.K Kiosk and she has such lovely things. Check her out on Facebook and grab your self  something I know I did! Oooooh and she is also a personal shopper so talk to her she could get you a thing or two! Thank you Wairimu you made my day and I will definitely do a hair tutorial just for you girl!

On to matters Fashion.I am totally into African/Kente/Ankara/Leso print. I love it but for the longest time I never got anything that I really liked until my Aunt go me fabric from the source, Nigeria. I have made several nice garments thanks to my trusted Congolese fundi....have a look!

I paired the top with this colored pants to bring out the beautiful color tones on the fabric and a touch of silver bling to keep the focus on the prints. Nothing like some studded flats and some cat eyed sunnies to finish the look! The pink lip again...don't judge me I just think its so pretty!!
