Black as Coal

Time is really living out this thing of waiting for no man, can you believe its mid-July!

Hey, everybody! I hope you had a restful weekend. Aside from the running around I managed to squeeze in some few hours of sleep. It's a new day and I am loving the fact that the sun has been out  which is unlikely because normally in July it is nothing like the Sahara Desert. 

I did not really buy into this reality show craze until I found the show "Basketball Wives." The drama is just too much and the clothes are simply to die for. I came across this picture of the wives dressed in all black and it took me down memory lane when black was once upon a time my favorite color....Talk about a borderline goth phase! It was so bad I looked like I wore the same darn clothes everyday. Well I guess all dark things come to an end well almost to an end! 

My outfit today was inspired by this ladies. I am obsessed with the peplum trend! I got this dress awhile ago and I knew if would fit perfectly into this inspired look. I paired it up with black peep toe booties and added just a touch of color with this African print clutch which I seem to be obsessed about lately! Take a Peak....
