Vazi Zuri

My Goodness (insert Jeff Koinange Voice) what a weekend!

Let me go back to where it all started. Two years ago (wow it’s been two years since Law School) I meet the lovely savvy Twilli at Kenya School of Law. We became fast friends by virtue of the fact that we used to sit right at the back of the class room as we giggled at everyone’s fashion blunders ,gossiped  and ogled at the not so many hot boys….…..You wonder how we passed the bar exams.

Well Twilli invited me to her official opening of her fashion boutique that has had quite some presence online thus she was launching its physical location.

Funny huh? Lawyers are known to have boring style, an euro-centric fashion sense and they do not feature anywhere in the fashion world. This girl, my friend has quite something going with her new enterprise; Vazi Zuri...even the logo above speaks volumes. She is the epitome of a beautiful damsel with everything put together- from her hair, to her make-up and down to what she wears.

I love the coining of the name Vazi Zuri too though my friend tells me it has a little something to do with her daughter. So there I was rocking my lovely bantu knots on a lovely and sunny Nairobi day making my way into Langata to my friends boutique- this girl has really gone all out…..I was impressed….from lovely designer handbags, to signature lotions, to signature body creams to designer perfumes, signature pocketbac hand sanitizers, an amazing collection of high street fashion dresses, beautiful jewelry and she tells me she has some amazing wear-to-work outfits and suits arriving next week.

And they kept on coming!!!

she is simply catering to every woman's needs everyday and everywhere.
To buy it or not to buy it???

Twilli looking Fab after getting her make up done.

The highlight for me was the make-up artist she invited, her name is Rose and after 7years of working with make-up you can see she knows her way around it and loves what she does. Its amazing what a total make over can do to your self esteem.... try it ladies you shall not regret.

"Ooooooh My laaaawwwwwrrrd.....I look so good!"
Mamasita spent ten minutes at the mirror. I know I spent even more after my make over!

Rose at Work.

I keep staring at this picture... Is that really me?? Hit up Rose at Make-Up-by-ROSE you shall love what she does to you....Darn!!!!

 A satisfied customer indeed.

Hit Vazi Zuri up on Facebook.

The lovely Solopian looking looking oooh so glamorous.
Another day of celebrating fashion, living fashion and discovering fashion! You can be sure I will be writing more about Vazi Zuri.

MOCHA CHICA!

  1. Hi-
Its great seeing how the Kenyan retail market is growing, offering greater style options to cater to different preferences. I am especially impressed by Kenyans embracing the concept of online stores :) I am a huge fan of creative-ambition.com they have great shoes at reasonable prices and their customer service, does a lot to reassure me especially considering that they are an online only store. Perhaps you can check out their Facebook page :) https://www.facebook.com/creative.ambi
